Rite of the Womb
Hello Loves,
I am holding the Rite of the Womb ceremony on March 21st on the New Moon/Spring Equinox, and you are invited. This ceremony reconnects us to the ancestral feminine wisdom within. All women are invited to receive this rite. After receiving the rite and nurturing the wisdom, you become attuned to your natural rhythm by deeply connecting with the Moon’s cycles. The womb releases trapped emotions, traumas, pain, and sorrow, creating room for your womb to reawaken.
Our wombs are sacred and holy as they hold the ability to create and birth life. By reconnecting to this innate wisdom, you are awakening your inner Creatress.
Through the jungle medicine of the Amazon, a spiritual lineage of medicine women has gifted us this liberating initiation.
The Rite of the Womb is a part of the Munay-Ki initiations. The Munay-Ki are ten shamanic rites that awaken your whole sacred being. This body of wisdom was birthed in the Andes and is now carried among many medicine people around the Earth.
What you will need to bring to this ceremony:
Your journal and a pen
A candle
A bowl of fresh water
Flower petals of your choice
The printed guidebook
I love carrying the medicine of this lineage, and I am looking forward to sharing it with you all! Now I would like to share my personal story of how I received the Rite of the Womb.
MY STORY OF THE RITE OF THE WOMB
My connection with the Divine Feminine has taken me on many journeys. One of those journeys was my experience of receiving The Rite of the Womb: An initiatory rite of the Munay-Ki.
I received this rite in March 2017 from a sweet Medicine Woman. I met her while living in Alabama, and I believe our connection was divinely guided. I got lost one day while exploring our new town with my husband. We ended up randomly in the parking lot of the store she owned. I saw it was a healing center, but it was closed, so I wrote down the number. There weren’t many spiritual shops around where I lived, so I was excited!
I called and spoke with the owner, Jane, and soon we met and talked for hours and connected over our love of energy medicine. A few months later, she offered to gift me the Rite of the Womb.
On the day of the ceremony, I was excited but had no idea what to expect. I arrived with the inner knowing that this was going to transform my life in some way. It was a simple yet powerful ceremony. During one part of the ceremony, I saw vivid flashes of a past life, and it felt as if I was blipping in and out of my reality. I knew I had experienced this before in another time. After we finished, she explained everything to me, and I thanked her for this gift. I was on a spiritual high during my drive home, and it felt like I had been in the car for three hours when it had only been maybe 30 minutes.
That night I massaged my stomach, sending my womb love and intuitively connecting with this lineage of women. This was one of the first times I felt my stomach without shame. I had struggled with fully loving my body for years. I had always worked on self-love and healing, but this area healed slowly - I was never entirely comfortable in my own skin. But on this night, with my hands on my stomach, I had visions of women of all different sizes gathering together in celebration and ceremony. As this vision played out, I was consumed by a feeling of overwhelming unconditional love, compassion, and sisterhood. Every one of them looked so beautiful to me. I honestly saw the Goddess in all of them. This pure Divine Force danced through their veins. How could anything that holds that amount of sacredness be anything less than beautiful? I looked at myself with new eyes and saw the Divine Feminine within me in a new light. Lifetimes of shame were released that night.
As a Womb Keeper, I have passed this rite on to many women through my online gatherings, privately, and at local Red Tent events. The wisdom of this rite has grown within me over the years of nurturing my connection with this sacred feminine lineage.
“The true feminine vibration or essence will always feel healing, loving, kind, non-hierarchical, wild. It will awaken your own power, rather than having power over you; it will inspire you with trust, not fear of negative consequences. Love will always be enveloped in a kind, nurturing Divine softness, even if it is delivering radical truth or fierce compassion or is wild with primordial passion. As a race we have hardened up; love invites us into softness again.”

You can sign up for my upcoming online ceremony if you want to receive this rite. I also have a three-part Munay-Ki series on the Seeking Wild Beauty Podcast if you are interested in learning more about the Munay-Ki as a whole.
With love and support,
