Hey Loves,
How are you all doing? The sun has just set here, and the sky is still glowing a bit on the horizon. Thankfully, I have moved my desk right in front of my window that faces west, so I usually get a pretty good show if I’m writing later in the evening! Sometimes I like to imagine sunsets as an art piece being painted by the Goddess herself. I am usually inspired to write most evenings after a beautiful scene like this! Before I finish up for the day, I want to take some time to share something with you.
This past week I was putting the final touches on a guided journey for the Jaguar course I recently released, and I was drawn to expand on the topic of journeying and why it is so powerful and transformative for the healing path.
Through journeying, I guide my clients into a higher state of awareness by connecting them with the otherworld and straight into the heart of Creator/Creatress/Great Spirit while learning and receiving wisdom from this plane of existence. It is important to embody and retrieve our gifts to live a fulfilling and purposeful life. I used to think that my gifts were something that I could hide away when necessary and pull out to use at later times. When I lived this way, I felt disconnected from my natural self. No wonder, right? We are meant to live through our gifts, and they will guide us into alignment on all levels. They are a part of who we are, not an accessory.
By connecting straight to the heart of Creator, we remember our power to weave and create our own lives. When journeying in the otherworld we are deepening our awareness and can expand beyond our minds and beliefs and experience miraculous change within - mind, body, and soul. The medicine you bring back from journeying will ripple out into our everyday lives. The healing you experience while in an expanded state of awareness will shift you on an energetic level and expand your perspective on life. These changes will be seen in the way you relate to others, within relationships, within your work, and home life. By learning how to embrace the healing we experience while in an expanded state of awareness, you can embody powerful positive change in your life.
“There is a candle in your heart, ready to be kindled. There is a void in your soul, ready to be filled. You feel it, don’t you?”
-Rumi
A lot of us will look at vlogs, Instagram, and movies and wish we had the life of those people. We may think things like,
I wish I had a cozy morning routine, but I just don’t have time for it. I want my house to be more organized and beautiful, but it’s always a mess. I want to spend more time in nature, but there is nowhere to go. I wish I were beautiful like her. I would love to travel more, but it’s never going to happen for me.
We have a certain lens on when viewing these inspiring people and lifestyles and may be so magnetized to them that it ignites some jealousy within us. Well, that lens is yours and you can look at your life through it too. It just takes a bit of a perspective shift. We can create a beautiful and fulfilling life with exactly what we have right now. The present moment is full of beauty. If you want more romance in your life, romance yourself! Light candles while you are making breakfast and play some smooth Jazz. Lay a blanket outside with your journal or a good book to read in a beautiful nature spot. Set up your office with beautiful things that inspire you. Go watch the local band you’ve wanted to see! Whatever you want your life to look like, start creating it with what you’ve got!
We create our lives with the actions we take - but sometimes we won’t take action because of the limiting beliefs we hold about ourselves. When I realized how powerful energy medicine was, it changed my whole life. It is a huge part of my spiritual practice as it moves out the blocks within my mind that holds me back from taking action and creating. I used to allow fear to hold me back in many different areas of my life. Working with my limiting beliefs, patterns, lenses, and old energies, I was able to clear so much of the crap that wasn’t me. Many things that I was taught to be caused misalignment within because it wasn’t who I truly am. As I was growing up, family and society implied that being a dreamer and visionary is irresponsible. As an artist with multiple mediums, I felt the need to hide most of who I was to be respected by society. I know that many of you have experienced this as well. After realizing this and beginning the healing path, I was able to let all of that go and emerge fully myself through the earth-based practices I teach my students and clients today. Journeying takes us deep within our inner landscapes.
Light cannot see inside things.
That is what the dark is for:
Minding the interior,
Nurturing the draw of growth
Through places where death
In its own way turns into life.

I am all about uncovering the truth of who we are. I believe that we all shift and change of course, but there is a deep earthen intuition or essence that is who we are and have always been; our natural wild selves. As we grow, change, and evolve, that intuitive voice will support and guide us. Our truth is being fully present with who we are in this moment. Energy medicine helps us in staying clear on all levels so we can do the work without trying to push up hill with lifetimes of baggage on our backs. The journey is still hard work, but why should it be harder than it needs to be?
If I am going to climb a mountain, you bet your sweet ass I am going to pack as light as possible. What do I truly need to take with me? These kind of questions, in the context of where you are going in your life, will be powerful and guide you to truth. Releasing attachments to things that are blocking a positive flow of energy in your life will be so important for you to move out the old and invite in the new.
If we are trying to manifest something in our lives and are frustrated about not seeing any results then we need to look at what we need to let go of that isn’t matching the vibe of what we are bringing in? For example: I want to build my readership online, connect with people, and create a safe place for feminine souls to experience themselves in a loving way. If I am not creating time and space for me to work on this, how am I going to create it? If I am not writing regularly, how am I going to be there for the audience I want to talk to?
It is important to see where our actions are not lining up with our dreams and goals. We have to get it all in alignment - mind, body, and soul. Energy medicine works on a soul level and instantly affects the mind and emotions. The power in this kind of work supports our whole lives - but it isn’t the only way. We must take care of our bodies, create nourishing routines that make sense to us. We must watch what we focus our thoughts on, be present with our emotions, and learn how to love ourselves no matter what we feel. We mustn’t lie to ourselves.
Many people act like having a glass half full kind of mindset is childish and not practical or realistic. This is absolutely ridiculous. There is such a thing as toxic positivity where one is not present with what they are feeling and bypass the hard stuff. This is definitely unhealthy. But being able to find wisdom in every situation of our lives, and to be fully present with even the raw messy bits that are overwhelming and intense - is powerful. Self-love is embracing all of ourselves, the good, bad and ugly. We must love all of our humanity and choose to live our lives authentically - not through our wounds.
Living authentically means following that deep intuitive voice and instinct that already lives within you. If you can’t hear yours or know what that is yet - that is what the healing journey is all about. Begin to pay attention to the areas of your life that just don’t feel right and allow your soul to guide you to what does feel right. Our lives become much more graceful when we strengthen the way we follow our intuition. Even when we experience emotional storms it is easier to navigate if we are rooted into our heart and core of who were are.
I live a wholistic lifestyle and I have spent most of my time being a mother, healing myself, and shifting the wounded stories that live through my family line. It’s been a long winding path, and I am happy that I am where I am. I now can find the beauty within myself and in my life because I have made room for my true eyes to open.
“One of the most calming and powerful actions you can do to intervene in a stormy world is to stand up and show your soul. Struggling souls catch light from other souls who are fully lit and willing to show it.”

Walk in beauty,
Harmony
Yes! Energy medicine - in all its unique forms - is my pathway of attunement. Energy medicine is how I shape my field to walk in integrity, to activate the imprint of the states of being I seek to embody through my Wholeness. As you said, I notice my choices can deviate from my desires, and this is where the power of energy can support me in stewarding myself into alignment. I use prayer (my way of journeying), dance, writing, nature, and tuning IN with guides. 🌬🌀
